in the mesonephric tubules, and at E12.5 strongly expressed in the
comma shaped bodies and surrounding ureter stalk. In E14.5 kidney,

system, expressed in the presumptive hindbrain and the ventral
part of the neural tube from E8.0 onwards. At E9.5, expression is
additionally detected in the mesonephros and the optic vesicle.

bands and where the ribs contact the sternum. In other developing
structures, expression found at E11.5, in the maxillary and
mandibular component of the first branchial arch, and later, in
