More Details about
STORAGE: Store at –20°C.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year under proper storage conditions
MOLECULAR WEIGHT: 695.0
SEQUENCE: Z-Val-Asp(OMe)-Val-Ala-Asp(OME)-FMK
PURITY: One spot by TLC
PACKAGE CONTENTS: 1 mg (or 5 mg) lyophilized powder
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute in DMSO (20 mM)
DESCRIPTION:
A synthetic peptide that irreversibly inhibits activity of caspase-2. The inhibitor is designed as a methyl ester to facilitate cell permeability. The product can be used for both in vitro and in vivo studies. (CAUTION: If the intended use is on purified or recombinant enzymes, esterase should be added to generate free carboxyl groups).
RECOMMENDED USAGE:
We recommend using 2-10 μM for inhibiting caspase activity in cell culture. The optimal doses may vary for different cells and culture conditions.
For Research Purpose Only. Not to be used on humans.
