The Packaged Positive Transduction Controls can be directly used to optimize transduction conditions or determine the sensitivity of target cells to infection with packaged lentivector constructs. Pre-packaged in VSV-G pseudotyped viral particles, the Packaged Transduction Control is provided in a ready-to-use format that allows you to immediately transduce your cells on receipt. Transduced cells stably express the copepod green fluorescent protein (GFP) marker and the RFP marker. You can easily detect cells that express the copGFP gene by fluorescent microscopy or by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). This control can be used to optimize the protocol for delivery of lentiviral constructs into your target cells in order to determine the necessary transduction efficiency and the desired promoter activity.
